Mercedes 2016 W212 Workshop Manual

My 2014 car is making a few cabin noises when driving on certain asphalt types and/or rough roads. One of these is a horrible, loud and angry rattle that comes from the rear vent and which I am planning on removing to have a good look at.
Now, I would normally just let the professionals do what they do best, as I'm no mechanic and do not want to risk damaging the car in any way. BUT I have felt encouraged by this post and the workshop manual it links to. While the manual page extract itself isn't very easy to read, I believe the steps involved are fairly straightforward.
That got me thinking, would it be possible to request workshop manuals from Mercedes so that I could safely conduct other minor repairs, like applying felt or other materials to some areas that make rattling noises? If so, it would probably be associated with a high price tag, right? What about alternate sources? I have found this website which promises ONE download containing workshop manuals for all MB models up to 2018 for a single one off fee; but it feels too good to be true.
What are my options?
